Sherri Reeve graciously shared her watercolor paintings “Lilac Orient Express” and “Orient Express,” signature images from her gallery in Makawao, Maui. For the cherry blossom flowers, which have five petals, I chose presentations with five layers of pentagonal components arranged in a pentagon-based pattern.
