Interface

drawing by Logan Vincent

My nephew Logan did a crayon drawing that also struck me as a beautiful image to be constructed of multiple pieces and multiple layers.  The patterns on the left and on the right are even and regular, but become jumbled at the interface – as is so much in life!

Interface (23-1/2” x 35-1/2”)

A colorful abstract artwork featuring a patchwork of vibrant squares in warm colors on the left and cooler shades of blue and purple on the right.
A colorful abstract artwork featuring a mosaic of triangular shapes in various shades of blue, purple, orange, green, and yellow, arranged in a grid pattern.

And the back:

A collage made up of colorful beverage can labels and packaging, creating a vibrant and textured mosaic pattern.
